In my painting for the Design-A-Bin contest, I created a superhero that goes by the name of Captain Salvation Army. Captain Salvation Army represents three symbols: food, clothes, and shelter. Food for the people who starve or need more food for their families and themselves. Clothes for the people who mostly don’t have any or have some but they are ripped or worn out. Shelter for the people who do not have anywhere to go and who have to live on the streets. Captain Salvation Army provides food, shelter and clothing for the people in need.
