Salvation Army Design-A-Bin

Nardele Da Silva

The painting I created for the Salvation Army’s Design-A-Bin contest shows a city or a town with people out in the street protesting for things like feeding the poor, job training programs and housing. The Salvation Army shield logo is the sun and, like the sun, it is a beacon of light. It means that the Salvation Army is an important organization which is a leader that show the way for doing good. On the side there are services that the salvation army may run like homeless shelter, food pantry, and job training program. This design shows how the Salvation Army has a positive effect in one's community by supporting those in need.
