The world is constantly going through problems and is suffering due to man’s actions such as crime, war, or the normal occurrences such as death. There isn’t anyone or anything that wants suffering to continue, which is why different groups of people have risen to assuage the pain of people. One organization that attempts to do this is the Salvation Army, which promotes many means to do good and help the world to be a better place with its motto: “Doing The Most Good.” My first Design-A-Bin contest submission illustrates both the greater good and the specific things the Salvation Army does to do the most good. This group serves the people, especially the poor, the sick, the young, and the needy in many different ways. Some methods include the opening of shelters, food pantries, and thrift shops. It also helps people by holding clothes drives and donating to different associations such as schools and hospitals. The world sees organizations such as the Salvation Army as a help, which the people push forward in order to promote its continuation.
